The Minister for the Interior, Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak, has renewed the curfew hours for Sampa Township in Jaman North District of the Bono Region.

The curfew starts from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am each day, effective Thursday, June 5, 2025.

The Minister acted on the advice of the Bono Regional Security Council and by Executive Instrument.

Meanwhile, there is a total ban on all persons in Sampa Township in Jaman North District of the Bono Region from carrying arms, ammunition, or any offensive weapons.

“Any person found with any arms or ammunition will be arrested and prosecuted,” a statement issued by the Ministry said.
