President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Wednesday swore in a 10-member board for the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC). The board will be chaired by Kwasi Abeasi. The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the Flagstaff House, saw in attendance the Minister of Finance, the Chief of Staff and the Executive Secretary at the Presidency among others. Membership of the new board will include the Chief Executive Officer of the GIPC, Yofi Grant, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana Maxwell Opoku-Afari, Acting Director General of the National Development Planning Commission Dr Grace Bediako and Deputy Trades Minister Carlos Ahenkorah. Others are Deputy Finance Minister Kwaku Kwarteng and CEO of Private Enterprise Foundation Nana Osei-Bonsu. The rest are Alex Apau Dadey, Madam Nora Bannerman-Abbott and Dame Dr Mrs Cecilia A.
