All is set for the Akoma FM’s Healthy Child Fair slated for Saturday, September 21, 2024.
The event is a partnership between Akoma FM and Pediatric Society of Ghana, Ashanti Chapter and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
“This is an event put together by Media General’s subsidiary, Akoma FM to promote healthy living and child wellbeing for all pediatrics in Ashanti Region,” Seth Dankwah, head of events, Akoma FM.
“We aim to screen 1,000 children who fall within the category of pediatrics. We will offer both general and specialized medical care for all pediatric cases,” Seth said.
Hundreds of children together with their parents are expected at the Prempeh Assembly Hall, Kumasi where the event is scheduled to take place.
Aside the health screening, the children will also be entertained.
Parents will also be screened for free.
