AirtelTigo, MTN, Glo & Vodafone fined GH¢34m for breaches

All four telecommunication networks have been fined a total of GH¢34,065,000 for non-compliance to requirements of the National Communications Authority (NCA). AirtelTigo, MTN, Vodafone and Globacomm were fined for poor quality of service in the third quarter of the year. AirtelTigo received the heaviest fine of GH¢11,635,000. MTN followed with a fine of GH¢9,080,000 while Vodafone received a fine of GH¢8,890,000. Glo received the least fine of GH¢4,460,000.
