According to Mrs Faith Oyedepo, wife of Bishop David Oyedepo, any woman or women’s movement that questions the position of a man in the family is under a demonic influence.
The revered woman of God shared this insight on her official Instagram page. She also mentioned that women are subordinates to their husbands in everything they do. She wrote, “Any woman or women’s organization that attempts to question the position of the man in the family should be regarded as being under a demonic influence.
“God expects that just as the Church is subject to Christ in everything, even so, women should be in subjection to their husbands in everything.”
She also added that this did not mean that women should be mistreated or taken advantage of. Mrs Oyedepo pointed out that submission comes naturally from a place of love.
In a rejoinder post, she wrote ;
Submission by the woman to her husband has to be done in love, not out of fear or threats. When it is rooted in love, it is perfect. And brings God’s presence down in the home.
