They have since led the Police to a cemetery where a pump-action gun, machete, locally manufactured pistols, daggers and mobile phones were retrieved, TV3’s Ebenezer Kwame Abakah reported.
The incident happened at one of the various galamsey sites in the area, which is near Asankragua, on February 18 at about 6:00PM. The victims alerted the Police and members of the area’s watch dog committee who quickly mounted a road block between Oda and Asankrabreman.
They were subsequently arrested and handed to the Police. Investigation is currently ongoing after which the suspects will be put before court for prosecution to begin.
