President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to vote for the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday, December 7 when they go to the polls to elect a new president and Members of Parliament.
The president expresses the view that among all the candidates, Dr Bawumia is the one he believes can bring continuity and progress to Ghana.
In a Facebook post, Mr Akufo-Addo said “I have one more request from you as far as my successor is concerned.
“When I take a look at all those contesting to be president, I firmly believe that the only one among them who can bring continuity and progress is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.”
He added “On 7 December, when you go out to vote, just look at the first person on the ballot paper – Dr Mahamudu Bawumia – and vote for him. Dr Bawumia has what it takes to take the country forward, and I urge you all to vote massively for him.”
The President had stated earlier that with “Dr Bawumia’s proven track-record of honesty, credibility and competence, is in the position to give us the leadership needed for the fourth industrial revolution.”
