Opoke Ware Secondary School (OWASS) defeated Prempeh College and Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary in the semi-final of the 2023 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) on Thursday, October 19.
OWASS has qualified for the final.
“At the end of the contest Prepmeh College has 36 points, Pope Johns has 36 and Opoku Ware School has 38,” the Quiz Mistress, Professor Elsie EffahKaufman, said.
She added “Prempeh College, thanks for being here this is where we say goodbye.
“Pope John, thank you for being here, you put in your best, unfortunately, it is the end of the road for 2023.
“Opoku Ware congratulations on winning the contest. That was a lot of determination, well done.”
