2022 Ghana’s Most Beautiful Queen Teiya constructs borehole for Lungsi Fong community

Dahamani Tung-Teiya, the reigning Ghana’s Most Beautiful Queen has successfully commissioned a borehole she built for the residents of Lungsi Fong, a community in the Tolong area.
The event which took place on Friday, June 16, 2023, is part of the beauty queen’s effort to give back to society.
She stated in a post on her Instagram that “If water is life, then I’m sure that potable water is good life.”

In addition, Queen Teiya expressed gratitude to the Universal Islamic and Cultural Trust for providing financial support for this undertaking.
“Special thanks to the Universal Islamic and Cultural Trust for funding this project and to you all for your support. I’m really glad that we were able to put smiles on the faces of these lovely people. The children played with the water as I smiled in tears. Thanks be to God,” she added.
She expressed her happiness, saying that one of her lifelong goals was to bring drinkable water to underserved areas in the North.

The borehole was built to provide pure water for the residents of Lungsi and the other communities.
The drilling of the borehole is one of the many life-changing endeavours Queen Teiya has undertaken while serving as Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2022.
