NDC Primaries: Tamale North aspirant joins in community cleaning

One of the aspirants of the Tamale North Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mohammed Kamal-Deen Alhassan, joined hundreds of supporters to clean Tunayili, a suburb of Tamale, as part of the National Sanitation Day observed over the weekend.

The exercise saw supporters of the Tamale Polytechnic Senior Accountant clear the bushy area around the Tunayili cemetery.

Other residents joined the exercise

After the exercise, Mr Alhassan, who is one of seven candidates contesting the November 21 parliamentary primaries, held a mini-rally at Gumani.

He talked to residents of Gumani, where he also hails from.

The mini-rally saw the aspirant outline his plans for Tamale North

He used the opportunity to outline his plans to the youth if he eventually becomes the Member of Parliament.

Mayor of Tamale Abdul Hanan Gundadow was around to congratulate the KNUST lecturer.
