NDC Primaries: Kamal-Deen heats up campaign in Tamale North

Popular Tamale Polytechnic senior accountant Mohammed Kamal-Deen Alhassan has upped his campaign ahead of Saturday’s primaries in the Tamale North Constituency of the National democratic Congress (NDC).

Number 7 on the ballot sheet, the KNUST part-time lecturer is attempting to lead the incumbent party to wrestle the seat from Member of Parliament Alhassan Dahamani, who won the 2012 elections as an independent contender.

Kamal-Deen was in Kanvilli, Choggu and Ward K, all suburbs of Tamale, over the weekend to drum home his message of reclaiming the Tamale North seat for the NDC.

But before representing NDC in the 2016 elections, the chartered accountant would have to see off opposition from the six other candidates including radio morning show host Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, Alhaji Nabila Mohammed, Mohammed Abdallah, Mohammed Abdul-Sallam and Dr Abdullai Salifu.
