Former Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South Fritz Baffour accompanied former Finance Minster Dr Kwabena Duffuor for his vetting at the headquarters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to enable him to contest in the flagbearer elections of the party.
The vetting took place on Tuesday, March 28.
The former Minister of Information told journalists after the vetting that Dr Duffuor is a good candidate who knows what he is about.
“The vetting went very well, we have a very good candidate in the person of Dr Duffuor, he is eloquent, he knows what he is about and so naturally, the committee was interested in hearing his opinions on various things concerning the Republic of Ghana and the people of Ghana,” he said.
Dr Duffuor has been campaigning to convince the delegates of the party to vote for him to be the flagbearer of the party.
He believes that he is the right material for the party to recapture political power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
