NDC has failed with ‘Better Ghana Agenda’ – Dr. Bawumia

Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the ruling National Democratic Congress has failed to deliver on the ‘Better Ghana Agenda’.

He alleged that the Ghanaian economy has seen retrogression under both late President John Evans Atta Mills and President John Dramani Mahama.

He was speaking at a rally in Walewale and Bolgatanga to round off his campaign in the Upper East Region.

Residents of Walewale in the West Mamprusi District followed Dr Bawumia, who expressed confidence in the people, saying he trusts that they will give NPP the nod.

A former minister in the Kufour administration, Hajia Alima Mahama called on supporters to vote for the NPP.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Flagbearer of the NPP, asked residents to set aside some time on Friday, November 30, 2012 to pray for peace during the elections.

Meanwhile, the Bolganatnga Jubilee Park hosted the regional rally.

Member of Parliament for Navrongo Joseph Ada asked supporters to vote massively for the NPP.

Dr. Bawumia and Nana Akufo-Addo also took turns to address the crowd.

Nana Addo said the NDC stole the idea of the Northern Development Authority into Savannah Accelerated Development Authority, which like the Better Ghana Agenda has been “a spectacular failure.”

Dr. Bawumia asked supporters to vote to return the NPP to power.
