NC Special Competition: Hearts, Kotoko record 2-0 wins

Hearts of Oak beat Inter Allies 2-0 in Accra

Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak recorded mid-week wins in the Normalisation Committee’s Special Competition.

The Phobians were 2-0 winners over Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium while the Porcupine Warriors were same-scoreline winners over Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Robert Addo and Joseph Esso’s goals in the second half gave Hearts of Oak the maximum points.

They therefore finished the first round in Premier B in third place with Karela United leading the log.

Kotoko secured their win via goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi and Fatawu Safui, who converted a penalty in regulation time.

With one more game to end the first round, the Fabulous Boys are leading Premier A with 13 points.
