Paramount Chief of Essikado Traditional Area, Nana Kobina Nketsia IV has commended Media General for celebrating Ghana in the month of march.
The campaign which was seen across all Media General platforms was to primarily project the country’s indigenous products and services as well as celebrate its rich cultural heritage through contents especially documentaries.
According to Nana Kobina Nketsia IV who also doubles as a historian, the best way for every country to progress is to look at the past for a better future.
“One of the healthiest contribution that I have seen in our nation building as a historian and as a chief, I always remember the fact that, in other to move forward, you have to look at the past, and bring the best out of you, for the future.
“So the Ghana month Idea is very healthy – to ceberate Ghana, to celebrate those who went on before us, and make possitive contribution, to take our mistakes, examine them and not repeat them to understand the flag, understand the land of Ghana.
“This is what Ghana month is about, is about traditions, is about the cultural, unfortunately, these are the things we busy subverting today because of Westernism, so if you say Ghana month and Ghana is an African Country, then is time to reflect on we as Africans.
“Kudos! Kudos TV3, I think you’ve done exceptionally well with this concept,” he said.
