NACOB denies recruitment reports

The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) has denied reports that it is embarking on a recruitment exercise.

A statement issued by the Executive Secretary said before such an exercise takes place “there will be at least two newspaper advertisements by NACOB”.

Akrasi Sarpong advised the public to beware of “unscrupulous people with criminal intent” claiming to be carrying out such exercise.

“The public is advised to report any person(s) who purports to act as agent of NACOB for the purpose of any recruitment into the employ of NACOB to the nearest Police Station or to the headquarters of NACOB.”
