N/R NPP replaces suspended executive by swearing in new one

The Northern Regional Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has sworn in Hajia Safia Mohammed as the Deputy Regional Women’s Organizer.

Hajia Safia comes in to succeed Hajia Zulfawu, who was suspended a few weeks ago for non-performance.

Hajia Zulfawu’s conduct, according to the regional executives, has been in contrast to the party’s constitution, hence the suspension and a subsequent appointment of Hajia Safia Mohammed.

NPP’s Northern Region Chairman Daniel Bugri Nabu said Hajia Safia’s appointment will ensure the party sweeps more seats especially the Bole-Bamboi parliamentary seat in the Gonjaland in the 2016 general elections.

Hajia Safia, in her acceptance remarks, promised a hands down victory for the NPP in the Gonjaland as she hails from the area and she has promised to conduct herself well and to jealousy guard the reputation of the NPP.

Chairman Bugri Nabu cautioned the newly sworn in executive to pay allegiance to only the flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,  the regional chairman and her immediate boss the Regional Women’s Organizer Hajia Amama.
