My family fought me for deciding to do music – Feli Nuna

Songstress Feli Nuna has revealed her family objected her decision to pursue music as a career, but said she stood her grounds. Notwithstanding, she dared and resisted her family to venture into music. In an interview with Miriam Osei-Agyeman on 3FM Urban Blend, Feli Nuna said the situation created a misunderstanding between her father  and herself because he wanted her to pursue education instead of music. “My dad actually made plans for me to travel to China to further do my masters and I declined and it was an issue; like a big family issue in the house,” she stated. She noted her family gave her appreciable level of support. “The fact that they give me the room to do what I’m doing now is enough support. They are actually proud, like my dad comes and he’s like, my friend wants to say hi. He’ll call me to talk to this friend. Or, we’ll go here or there and when people are all over me, he’ll just be smiling. Remember, it wasn’t like that in the beginning” she said. The musician is out with her new single titled Azumah Nelson. Feli Nuna is known for hit songs such as “Gelaway” and “Afro Magic.” By Sylvia Akorfa||Ghana]]>
