Mobile telecommunication network MTN has apologised to its customers for the intermittent challenges suffered in the large evening of Wednesday, September 13.

Most customers experienced difficulties in accessing voice and Mobile Money (MoMo) services.

“This is as a result of a technical challenge,” the market leader said in a public service announcement Wednesday night.

“Our engineers are working hard to resolve the issue and we will update when it is done.”

Ghana’s sole significant market power (SMP) rendered an apology for the hitches.

“We deeply apologised for the inconvenience caused.”

It is expected that as per regulations guiding telecommunication operations as stipulated by the National Communication Authority (NCA), customers will receive compensation due to the challenges.

  1. It is about time we start to sue these service providers. They charge too much and we still experience this poor services. Mtn caused Me to loss a whole lot of money at night.

  3. Why is MTN mute about the internet challenges? It’s obvious there were challenges as well, and there are still sporadic episodes as of 15/09/23, but they are silent on it. What is NCA doing about it too?
