Mohammed Salisu looking forward to more games after impressive debut

Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu is delighted after playing his first Southampton game against Wolves in the FA Cup eighth round and is looking forward to play more games.

The 21-year old joined Southampton from Real Valladolid in the Spanish La Liga last summer but had to wait for a while before making his debut.

Talking to the club after his debut appearance for the Saints, Salisu described the night at Mollineaux as perfect and will be looking forward making more appearances.

“It was a perfect night, I am really happy to be back with the team, the team really did well, we worked hard and I am very happy,” the center back told the club’s media. “I’m looking forward to playing more matches and give my best to the team.
