The 2019 “Women in Worship” musical concert is set to be headlined by Nigerian gospel musician, Mercy Chinwo and the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Gospel Artiste of the Year, Diana Hamilton.
The ‘Excess Love’ hit maker and “Mo Ne Yor” composer together with other celebrated Ghanaian gospel singers will treat worshipers to soul-lifting ministrations.
Dubbed “Trinity Experience”, this year’s concert is scheduled to take place on September 22, at the Action Chapel.
The annual all-female gospel concert which has been running for the past three years provides a platform for women all over the country and beyond to gather in worship, network as well as raise funds towards cervical cancer awareness campaign.
Speaking at a press launch at the Action Chapel International in Accra, Chief Executive Officer of Genet Services and Founder of the event, Georgina Netty said this year’s concert promises a spirit-filled atmosphere through which lives will be transformed.
She added, like every other year, the 2019 concert will be used to raise funds towards sensitization on cervical cancer, and activities will include outreach programmers and free screenings in both tertiary and senior high schools nationwide.
