So is he not supposed to come with the BOG Boss? Or he is the Deputy BOG Boss? Why do we disrespect people for them to disrespect us and others? Are we saying those leading the protests are menial people and so needs no respect from the BOG Boss? Is the BOG Boss not aware of this protest since weeks, or months? Why do we suppress expression? Is that safe for all of us??? Or because as a BOG Boss you are insulated from whatever can happen as a result of all these economic and social pressures all around us??? Or you don’t simply care about the needs of the vulnerable in Ghana…we don’t matter anymore??????

Ghanaian politics is full of lousy personification. The minority group in Parliament and some of their followers after refusing to hand over their petition to the Director of Security of the BoG, immediately started “running him down”.

How unfortunate, the minority group in Parliament led by a minority leader started to disregard the said Director because he introduced himself as the one in charge of security.

Now, it turns out that this citizen is an accomplished senior military officer and also a senior lawyer of the Ghana Bar, and not the security man they had in mind to disregard.

To some, this officer is far more accomplished in terms of service to the nation than the minority leader and most of the people who went to present their petition. Yet, they disregard and disrespect him because he mentioned security. We always look down on others.

This issue has exposed how lousy some persons in public service can be, thinking that they are better than others, without knowing the pedigree of the other citizen they are dealing with.

How many of the MPs after knowing who this Director of Security is now, will say their disregard was courteous? Now, we know who he is, was he an officer of the BoG qualified to receive the petition? Is the content of the petition so sacred that it cannot be received by a Director of Security of the establishment, who is a former senior military officer and a senior lawyer of the Ghana Bar? Would they have given the petition to the Director of Legal of the BoG, if that officer had come to receive same?

The man after all, is not the security man they sought to disregard and disrespect. At this point, some of us, can only say shame unto some lousy people in Ghana’s public space. We must learn to seek clarification or ask for further and better particulars before we start running down some other citizens we come across.

We must learn to lead with some respect.

So when citizens post their comments on articles regarding national matters, you choose to delete it right.

Do you serve the public interest as a media house?

I have commented on this article, l don’t normally do this but this is a serious national matter and the views expressed is critical for public awareness.

What is the essence of bringing to readers the pedigree of the citizen you write about if views to defend his persona would be deleted by you the journalist bringing the subject to the reader?

You delete the views of readers. You must bring back my views on the matter, if not your kind of journalism would be a public subject if not today, then one day, and that may carry lots of discredit to the kind of journalism you are into.

They are actually hooligans. You don’t respect others but you wanted others to respect you. Fools

Maybe we seems not understand setting protocols of an establishment. Every organisation, institution or establishment have structures, communication, accounts, marketing, security n so for. Why not the communication department received the petition since is communication. It doesn’t matter ur credentials if u flout or compromise ur position u give way for people to derogate you.
