Media General has been adjudged as the Tourism Oriented Media firm in Ghana for the year 2019.
Presenting the award to Berla Mundi on ‘New Day’ on Monday, September 28, Shine Dela Gowonu stated that “as part of the 2019 Greater Accra Regional Awards, the company has been adjudged the Tourism Oriented Media of the year”.
“The company through their shows like Travel Pass have promoted tourism.”
Mr Gowonu also expressed satisfaction and gratitude towards the company for their continuous support to tourism in the country.
“Media General keeps promoting tourism online and on- air. On behalf of everybody at the Greater Accra Regional office we say congratulations and thank you.”
Receiving the award on behalf of the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Media General group, Beatrice Agyemang Abbey, morning show host on TV3 Berla Mundi said “we are very grateful for this gesture”.
“This is for the viewers who continue to watch and follow us. Thank you.”
