Medeama SC finalizes Kwadwo Asamoah’s move

Ghana Premier League side, Medeama Sporting Club have completed  the signing of Midfielder  Kwadwo Asamoah from Dreams FC.

The move, which comes with undisclosed terms will see the midfielder play for the Tarkwa-based club when the Ghana Premier League resumes next month.

Asamoah’s contract ends in 2022.

The 24-year-old joined Dreams FC from Kpando Hearts of Lions in 2018 after which he was sent out on loan to Techiman Eleven wonders.

He featured in 12 games, scored one goal and made two assists for the Techiman-based club in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season, which was called off due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Asamoah after signing the contract said “It’s a great feeling to be part of this club and l hope to contribute  immensely to the club’s much desire projects.

“I look forward to meeting the coach,his back room staff and my colleagues to start working for this great club.”

Asamoah’s signing adds to a number of things happening at the club in recent times; the club this week signed a sponsorship deal worth 300, 000 dollars with mining firm Goldfields.

The Tarkwa club are also getting ready to move into a new stadium scheduled for completion soon.
