Accra, Ghana – Thursday, 12 th November 2015

The office of friends of Anas Aremeyaw Anas – FAAA, has been observing keenly, some frustrated attempts being put up by former Attorney General and Minister of Justice Martin Amidu to discredit the rather exceptional mind boggling corruption expose’ within the Ghanaian Judiciary, recently put out by world renowned investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Amongst other things being peddled around as truth by Martin Amidu include allegations of the Presidency in connivance with Tiger Eye PI Media (Anas Aremeyaw Anas) to shelve some expose’ within the Ghanaian legislature, descriptions of Tiger Eye PI Media as a fraudulent entity and works of the professional as a grand scheme to discredit a particular institution.

From where we stand as a group, we do not believe in what Martin Amidu is up to and will describe his outburst as a personal attack on works and integrity of our own.

Friends of Anas Aremeyaw Anas – FAAA is certain that Martin Amidu’s action amounts to diversionary tactics to shift attention from the Judicial Corruption to his own ‘pay-back’ political bidding.

Martin Amidu claims leadership of Parliament has examined a video produced by Anas Aremeyaw Anas within which video; the MPs were caught in an alleged bribery scandal.

We must state unequivocally that, we as a group in support of the fight against corruption is disappointed in the former Attorney General and also will not fall short in describing the character of Citizen Vigilante Martin Amidu as ‘sham’ considering the fact that, from his posture, he is opposed to the fight against corruption.

We have also observed with keen interest some immature analyses been done with information he Martin Amidu gathered from website of Tiger Eye PI Media. That, we describe as unfortunate because his analyses lack legal and professional order.

Friends of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ communication with ace Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas this morning points to a relief that, the ace journalist is not perturbed by Martin Amidu’s move to discredit Tiger Eye PI Media, Parliament and the Presidency.

For the former Attorney General to speculate that, Tiger Eye PI Media might be engaging in unlawful act is unbecoming of a seasoned lawyer of Martin Amidu’sstature. We therefore support Lawyer KissiAgyebeng’s suggestion that Martin Amidu is engaging in substituting speculation with evidence.

As Anas Aremeyaw Anas has stated earlier and quoted James Keller’s famous quote that, ‘a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle’ and further went on to add his own words that ‘the brightness of your candle is not in any way reduced when another lighted candle is brought into the room’, Martin Amidu should be rest assured that, his recognition as ‘Ghana’s most popular citizen vigilante would not be taken away from him by Anas Aremeyaw Anas because our own does not do Journalism necessarily for credit but rather, ‘For God and Country.
