Former President John Dramani Mahama has begun his campaign tour of the Western North Region.
He began on Sunday after ending his four-day campaign of the Ahafo Region.
A statement from his campaign team issued by Spokesperson James Agyenim-Boateng said the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will interact with chiefs, farmers, artisans and prospective voters.
“He will focus on the NDC’s policies in the People’s Manifesto aimed at improving agriculture and the quality of life of farmers, especially cocoa farmers, skills training and state-sponsored National Apprenticeship Programme, and Free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (T-VET).”
The former president is expected to also highlight NDC’s manifesto plan to roll out a free universal healthcare programme.
He is also expected to talk about the BIG PUSH, a programme to invest GH¢2 billion every year for four years into infrastructure.
