Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama is set to resume his tour of the Bono Region from Monday, September 28.
He will meet chiefs, farmers, okada riders, religious and community leaders, among others, and highlight issues in the People’s Manifesto.
A statement by his campaign team said Mr Mahama will outline plans to increase the earnings of farmers.
“He will also touch on setting up a cashew development board to support farmers, state-sponsored apprenticeship programme for the youth, legalising okada and his plan to provide Free primary Healthcare which seeks to remove cost as barrier to primary healthcare.”
Mr Mahama, together with his running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, last Tuesday suspended their campaign tours to confront the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) on the anomalies with the voter register.
While the former president was in the Bono Region, Prof Opoku-Agyemang was in the Central Region.
