The acting chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Freddy Blay has blamed President Mahama and national security for raiding and planting weapons at the party’s headquarters to create a false impression that the NPP is in tatters.

He asked journalist not to allow themselves to be used unduly to perpetrate evil.
Hundreds of party supporters gathered at the party headquarters clad in red and black to express their disapproval of the raid at their headquarters.
The 11 suspects have been granted police enquiry bail but the leadership of the party says the release of the persons is a clear indication that the government is involved in the masterminding the raid.
