Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramini Mahama will from Monday, October 19 begin a five-day campaign tour of the Western Region.
His tour will take him to all 17 constituencies in the Region.
Western Region Communications Director of the party Richard Kirk Mensah told 3news.com ahead of the tour that John Dramani Mahama and his team will visit and interact with traditional authorities, opinion leaders, strategic groupings and party faithfuls.
“The former president is expected to address key issues in the Region especially the abandoned infrastructural projects, locked-up funds, cocoa-related issues, fishing and small-scale mining challenges,” he explained.
He added John Dramani Mahama will also share key components of the People’s Manifesto with specific reference to the Western Region.
The presidential hopeful will kick-start his tour from the Amenfi West Constituency and end in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
