Lifeless body found at defunct fuel station in Takoradi

It was a sad scene on Friday morning at Nkroful junction in Sekondi/Takoradi when the lifeless body of a man believed to be in his early 30s was found leaning against a fuel Pump at popular but now defunct fuel station; Capstone

A friend of the deceased, Darlington Gyimah who spoke with Connect FM’s Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson laments he got the information early in the morning and rushed to the scene

According to Darlington, the deceased whose name was given as Emmanuel Austin Amoah is a Guinean who was adopted by a Ghanaian mother many years ago.

He however adds the deceased had long been neglected by his adopted mother ‘at a point in time, I was the one who took care of his feeding, medical expenses and everything but I also gave up since I was hard up’ the Taxi driver friend disclosed to Paa Kwesi Simpson

The friend described the deceased as someone who was into all forms of drugs and blamed his predicament on that lifestyle

The body has since been conveyed to the Effia Nkwanta hospital morgue by the police with assistance from a metro guard who is normally stationed close to the area.
