Ghana premier league side, Legon Cities football club have completed the signing of former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan.
Gyan had been on the books of Asante Kotoko for the most part of the year but failure to match the player’s expectations meant that the move to Kumasi fell through.
Several figures have been reported as the striker’s sign on fee and the amount he will earn at the club.
Legon Cities offered thousands of dollars to the striker and in that, he has agreed to play for the club.
Gyan played in the Ghana Premier League in the early 2000s for Liberty Professionals where he scored ten goals before moving to Europe to continue his career there.
Legon Cities put snippets of the announcement on their twitter page where they intend to put the final pieces together.
