Member of Parliament for Odododiodio Constituency Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has been released from police custody, reports say.
Ten other persons were arrested alongside him and all of them were sent to the Central Police Station for interrogation.
Popular lawyers Tony Lithur and Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, who is the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General, were at the station to defend him.
But Media General‘s Komla Adom reports that he has been released.
He also said the two-time MP is on his way to retaining his seat as 254 out of 258 polling station results put him in the lead.
He has so far polled 40,502 votes while his closest contender, Nii Lantey Bannerman, has polled 34,289 votes.
