Ghanaian blogger and content creator, Kwadwo Sheldon has expressed his disappointment at the Nana Akuffo-Addo government for not living up to their promises.
Speaking to journalists at the three-day protest organized by Democracy Hub, Kwadwo Sheldon stated that although he campaigned for the ruling government, he participated in the demonstration to register his displeasure at the prevailing economic hardship and alleged corruption issues.
“I campaigned for this government, I campaigned, 4 More for Nana, thinking whatever message they preached about, they were going to implement it,” he explained.
Kwadwo Sheldon cited the poor state of the Accra-Tema motorway as an issue that bothers him personally.
“There are a lot of bad things going on in the country. Look at the motorway. My mum lives at Prampram, but I don't remember the last time I went visiting her, I almost died on the motorway, my rim was cracked into two. I had to drive into a bush to save my life. This is why, I don't even visit my mum again in Prampram,” he lamented
The blogger added, “I don't care if I am tagged as pro- NDC or NPP. I am also a Ghanaian. There are a lot of unemployed graduates in this country. Finding a job in this country is difficult. Some of these people have been at home for 4-5 years without a job.
If you like, don't subscribe to my channel because I demonstrated, but I am here with the people to also register our displeasure at the government.”
