Kwadwo Asamoah signs for Cagliari

Kwadwo Asamoah has joined Italian Serie A side Cagliari Calcio until the end of the 2020-2021 season.

The Midfielder left Inter Millan mutually after his agent terminated his contract.

He has signed for Cagliari Calcio, which becomes his fourth club in Italy after playing for Udinese, Juventus and Inter Millan.

Cagliari currently sit 18th on the league log with 15 points out of 20 games and are struggling to survive relegation. Asamoah’s addition is expected to further bolster their existing squad.

He becomes the second Ghanaian to join them this transfer window after Alfred Duncan joined.

Asamoah has been handed the number 18 jersey.

The Ghanaian has won a number of trophies in Italy including the Italian Serie A, the Copa Italia and the Supercopa Italiana which he has won three times.
