Asante Kotoko gaffer Maxwell Konadu has said that his team is ready for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, which is few days away.
Despite missing the services of some of his key players due to injuries, Maxwell Konadu thinks he has worked on the mentality of all the players for the 2020-2021 league season.
“You know majority of the time is not us, even though we have a responsibility but it is the boys that play so well to help us win and accumulate the points we are talking about.
“You know when you prepare a team mentally, everybody has to be ready, so if player A is not there, player B can hold the fort. That is what we want to build on and we shouldn’t be okay with scoring one or two goals. We have to keep on going and keep scoring,” Konadu said.
He continued: “So far, they are doing their best – goalkeepers, defenders midfielders and attackers are all doing their best but we have to defend from the upfront.
“So far the games we have played, we are happy with what ever contribution every member has given to us”.
The Ghana Premier League is set to return on November 13 as Kotoko take on Techiman Eleven Wonders on Matchday One.
