Kotoko brighten last 8 chances with 3-0 win over Nkana

Asante Kotoko brightened their chances of qualifying from the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup with a 3-0 home win over Zambia’s Nkana FC on Sunday. Three first half goals were what the Porcupine Warriors needed to move to second in Group C though on same points with their opponents. Sudan’s Al-Hilal beat ZESCO United 3-1 earlier in the day to move top of the group. At a charged Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Fatawu Safiu opened the score for the home side in the fourth minute to send the crowd in frenzy.
