July Producer Price Inflation was 41.2% – GSS

Producer Price Inflation for the month of July 2022 was 41.2% percent, the Government Statistician Professor Samuel Annim has announced on Wednesday August 17.

This indicates that the rate is 2.5 percentage points higher than the rate recorded in June 2022, 38.7%, he said at a press conference.

Monthly Producer Price Inflation between June 2022 and July 2022 was 1.9 percent.

The Year-on-Year Producer Price Inflation across the sub-sectors for July 2022 were as follows Manufacturing 57.4 percent; mining and Quarrying 23.9 percent, Utilities 1.3 percent;

The monthly Producer Price Inflation across the sub-sectors for July 2022 were Manufacturing 3.1 percent

Utility 0.1 percent; Mining and Quarrying 0.0 percent.
