Joseph Paintsil scored his 10th league goal of the season in Genk’s 3-2 victory over Gent on Sunday in the Belgian Pro League.
The Ghana winger equalised for Genk in the 23rd minute, cancelling out an early lead for Gent.
With Paintsil’s goal and strikes from Yira Sor and Tolu Arokodare, Genk secured the win and maintained their top position in the league, six points clear.

Despite being omitted from Ghana’s squad for the 2022 World Cup, Paintsil has been making a strong case for himself on the field.
Not only does he have 10 goals, but he has also contributed 10 assists. He is currently one of Ghana’s top performers abroad and is expected to receive a call-up for the national team’s upcoming qualifiers in March.
