Johnnie’s bite returns on 3FM Sunrise and TV3 Newday live from the ultramodern 3FM studio

The vociferous and fearless broadcast journalist with Media General Johnnie Hughes on Monday 6 February 2023 has taken over from Alfred Ocansey as the new host for the 3FM Sunrise Morning Show as the station unveils its latest state-of-the-art studio in Accra. 

A section of the public expressed their displeasure amidst speculations that the hard-hitting Johnnie Hughes had been taken off TV3 Newday because of how hard he has been on authorities and institutions, especially politicians.

The Johnnie’s Bite segment which used to be an exclusive segment on TV3 Newday very popular with the Ghanaian populace as the people’s bite is now broadcasted live from the 3FM studio to TV 3 and all the 3FM and TV 3 social media handles on the 3FM Sunrise Morning Show every weekday at 6:50 am.

Johnnie Hughes is supported by co-hosts; Helen Appiah-Ampofo, William Asiedu, and Noble Crosby Annan. Each of them brings a touch of uniqueness and years of professional experience to bear on the show.

In her speech, the Channel Manager for your urban lifestyle radio 3 FM 92.7 MHz, Mrs. Lois Kissiedu assured listeners and advertisers of compelling content and advertising packages that will meet their needs. She further urged the listeners and all stakeholders to keep supporting the 3FM brand.
