It’s important to go where your music goes – Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy shared his thoughts on how his colleagues can make the most of their music. According to the prolific dancehall artiste, making physical appearances in musical tours or concerts in countries where their music is played is very important for sustainability.

In an interview on Showbiz360, Stonebwoy told Giovani Caleb how vital it had become to perform on international stages, especially in countries that hype his songs. He also pointed out how leveraging on attention could ultimately boost an artiste’s career.

“It’s actually very important to follow where our music goes. Everything takes time, and everything is time. And time is the master. So if you don’t strike whilst the iron is hot, you might lose some.”

Stonebwoy had nothing but good words for his comrades as he spoke on overcoming challenges in the industry.

“To be honest, we as Ghanaian artistes are really talented. But there’s more room for improvement for all of us, and it takes a lot of hard work.

“Big respect for all of my Ghanaian brothers, Ghanaian actors, actresses and the creative industry. I understand the kind of work we put in. So I went in there to put in work again, so that it will all reflect in the industry like it’s supposed to be,” Stonebwoy concluded.
