Mr John Boadu has expressed optimism that he will win the New Patriotic Party (NPP) internal elections to retain his position as General Secretary.
He also said he will go ahead and win the 2024 general elections for his party to break the 8 year-cycle.
Speaking on the New Day show on TV3 with Johnnie Hughes, Wednesday June 1 he said “I will win the elections and I will the 2024 elections as well.”
The NPP is preparing to elect its national executives after the party just ended with the regional executive polls.
It forms part of preparations ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Mr John Boadu who launched his campaign on Tuesday May 31 assured the party that the mistakes that were made leading to the number of parliamentary seats that were lost have been corrected.
