Paul Dogboe, father of Ghana boxing star, Isaac Dogboe, believes his son is well prepared and has what it takes to defeat his opponent, Chris Avalos.
Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe has been away for a year following his two defeats to Mexico’s Emmanuel Navarrette, in the space of 5 months.
Now he faces 30-year-old Chris ‘Hitman’ Avalos who has more experience than him. Isaac must do all he can to avoid defeat as 3 straight defeats will put a dent on his career.
Paul Dogboe says the former junior-featherweight champion is ‘determined’ and knows what to do to defeat Mexican Chris Avalos.
“He can knock Chris Avalos out easily, if Avalos stands and fights with him toe-to-toe, I think Avalos will go but if Avalos uses his range then I think Avalos will beat him on point”
He added that Isaac Dogboe is ready for a comeback.
“The kid is hungry and after a whole year without fighting, every boxer’s dream is to fight every time, and it’s not about redemption, what he wants to do is to get his career back”
The bout will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA.
