I was not invited – Keri Hilson speaks on Angola Junction Album virtual concert
Stonebwoy and Keri Hilson

Stonebwoy host the first-ever virtual album concert for the Anloga Junction Album on 22nd May at Bayview Village. Unfortunately, Keri Hilson and other featured international artist are notably absent.

The American singer replied to a fan who hinted at his delight that she would be present in Ghana for the album concert. She said she was not invited and had no idea there was such an event until the tag that came with the tweet.

Keri Hilson tweeted, “Ummm…I wasn’t invited. This is actually the first I am hearing about it. @stonebwoyb you got some ‘splanin to do, sir. I would have come too.”
But an earlier interview with JoyFM, Stonebwoy mentioned the absence of the international features due to the COVID protocols concerning international travels. Responding to the question of if every featured artist would be present, Stonebwoy said, “The only Ghanaian collaboration was our father, Kojo Antwi. Hopefully, he can have the time to pass through, but we will surely not be able to have international acts coming. Because during the later part of the year, we have the Bhim Concert and the Asiahman to the world. So we are hoping that things die down a little bit for people to move. Then we can have that big event.”

After Keri Hilsons’ response, 1GAD retweeted her tweet with the words, “Done And Dusted. We’re LIVE This Saturday For The Anloga Junction Album Virtual Concert 1st Anniversary. Call 0545477777 BayViewVillage.” Vaguely put, we do not know whether this is a confirmation of her visit to Ghana or not. Hopefully, the communication is clear before Saturday.
