Ghanaian rapper Kwaku T finally disclosed why he quit doing music full-time when he was in his prime and had a lot to offer.
As a guest host on the 3FM Drive, Kwaku T disclosed that he never made a dime from his music career, which frustrated him to turn off his mic.
“I have never made any money off this entertainment thing. I made some substantial money off my deals. I have never made money off this thing. This thing that they call music,” the one-time powerhouse said.
When asked if lack of revenue generation from his talent forced him to quit, Kwaku T said, ”Yes, because I was tired. I built this industry. I created this thing. So if you can’t respect me… do I have to come and beg you for a job, really?”
He hammered that nobody can now afford his services because he sees himself as a pioneer in the industry.
“ I’m a factory owner. You can’t hire me. I’m coming to transform this thing like nobody’s business”.
