Blakk Rasta and Efya Nokturnal

Ghanaian Neo singer, Efya Nokturnal has made a U-turn on comments she made about not knowing fellow musician and presenter, Blakk Rasta, in a past interview.

The incident had created tension between the two, but Efya has taken the opportunity to rectify the situation and reconcile with the radio presenter.

Efya who was answering questions on Asempa FM in Accra was remorseful over her comments mocking the reggae singer that he made funny songs

“I will never not know him again in my life. I will know him every day forever and ever. I pay respect to him for his job and anything he does,” she submitted

According to the ‘Devil in Me’ singer, it was a case of mistaken identity and she regretted her behaviour.

“You know what I mistook him for someone else that’s why and it’s okay and I don’t want to talk about that or make it deeper,” she added

During an interview with GHone TV on February 2, 2023, Efya was asked if she knew Blakk Rasta.

In her initial response, she stated that she didn’t know him, including his personality and his works.

However, when the host sang Blakk Rasta’s popular song, ‘Barack Obama,’ Efya recognized the name and realized it sounded familiar to her.

Blakk Rasta, who was initially displeased with Efya’s comment about his songs being funny, reacted to her change of mind in a more positive manner.
