Hearts of Oak’s technical director quits after just a week in office

Accra Hearts of Oak’s new Technical Director, Carlos Manuel Pinto has left the club.

The football man joined Hearts of Oak and was unveiled a week ago. But he has abandoned the job over growing concerns of what role he occupies in the Hearts managerial setup.

Pinto reportedly refused the role of Technical Director and has reportedly flown back to his home country.

Meanwhile, Pinto told a member of Hearts management team that he has had to return home because two of his children have contracted Covid 19.

Hearts of Oak are limbering up to the start of the season and were eyeing a first league win since 2009. This of course sets the club back a little.
