A Senior Staff Midwife of the Greater Regional Hospital, Racheal Hesse Matey, has won the Best Practicing Midwife for Greater Accra Region.
She was awarded by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
Madam Matey is a healthcare professional whose specialization is in nursing and midwifery practice, as well as health education.
She has half a decade’s experience practicing in the field at both relatively small and large state-of-the-art health facilities.
“I am passionate about public health education, and I have given in-person talks to hundreds of women.
“I also feature regularly on mass media platforms to undertake public health education,” she said.
