Ghana’s Covid-19 fatalities continue to rise by each case count given by the Ghana Health Service (GHS). The latest count released by the Disease Surveillance Department of the Service, on Monday, July 20, sees five persons losing the battle to the virus. This brings the total number of deaths to 153. The total number of cases has also risen sharply, from 27,667 to 28,430. But on a brighter side, more persons have either recovered or been discharged. The total number of recoveries-cum-discharges is 24,901, thus reducing further the number of active cases. The active cases thus stand at 3,376 now. Some of the patients are in home care while a majority are receiving healthcare at treatment centres spread across the country. Source: 3news.com|Ghana]]>
