Greater Accra NPP delegates endorse John Boadu for Gen. Secretary

Greater Accra Regional delegates of the New Patriotic Party have overwhelmingly endorsed John Boadu for the General Secretary post of the party. The delegates, mainly metropolitan, municipal and district chief executives, MPs and constituency executives, not only pledged to vote for him but also said they will go all out and campaign for him to win the upcoming elections hands down. Mr. John Boadu is currently on a campaign tour the 34 constituencies in the region ahead of the party’s National Annual Delegates Conference scheduled for July 7, in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua. On June 1, he visited the Amasaman, Tro-Bu, Okaikoi North and Okaikoi Central constituencies where he interacted with the party executives on his message of grassroots empowerment, administrative discipline and strengthening of party structures for victory 2020 and beyond. The delegates explained they have resolved to support him because of his vast experience and proven track record of unbeatable performance, particularly his latest feat in the 2016 electioneering period as National Organizer, Acting General Secretary and Director of the entire operations of the NPP campaign. They asserted that John Boadu has been a very competent General Secretary of the party in the two years that he has acted in that capacity. Accordingly, they said there is absolutely no reason to change him. They said their task on June 7 would essentially be to remover the  “Acting” attached to his position, thereby making him the party’s substantive General Secretary. By|Ghana]]>
