Emmanuel Yeboah, known as AY Poyoo, was a bit reluctant to allow his goat taken off the stage during a panel discussion. According to him, the goat is part of his signature style and goes with him everywhere.
Abeiku Santana, acting as the host, inquired if this GOAT style would be sustainable in the Ghanaian music industry. He referred to Wanlov the Kubolor after all his barefooted style did not make any massive waves in the industry.
But AY Poyoo reminded him that it has been a year since they met and that the style is international. According to him, it is people like him who could bring a Grammy to Ghana. He said, “The Grammy is all about originality.” Unfortunately, the discussion had to pause for the goat to be taken from the studio.
Abeiku asked the production crew to remove the goat from the room because they could not stand the scent. Once the goat was sent away from the room, all the guest heaved a sigh of relief.
